We are looking for experienced Accountant for our 2 Precast Concrete Plants.
The Accountant position will work closely with the CFO and Directors of the company and handle day-to-day bookkeeping for various responsibilities.

We are open to allow perform some duties remotely with flexible hours if duties are performed timely and according to established deadlines.
Responsibilities:
Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including:
Transaction entry and coding (using bank feeds and bank file uploads).
Reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts.
Entering Pos and SOs on the daily basis and ensure accuracy of the supporting documents.
Update standard costs and ensure accuracy in the Bill of Materials (BOM’s)
Posting journal entries, including adjusting entries for the various balance sheet accounts when required.
Develop and maintain a cost accounting system that ensures accurate costing.
Review and analyze standard and actual costs for variances and prepare reports.
Responsible for account reconciliation of physical inventories and cycle counts
Working with clients to collect vendor forms W9 on consistent basis during the year.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing by analyzing inventory and preparing supplemental reports as needed.
Preparation and filing of sales and use tax returns.
Payroll processing and preparation of quarterly/annual payroll reports.
Year-end tax forms preparation (forms W2, 1099, etc.
)
Improve internal systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or similar
3+ years accounting experience, manufacturing experience is preferred.
Expertise with QuickBooks (Online and Desktop) required.
QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification is preferred.
Knowledge of general accounting principles
Tax preparation experience a plus, multiple states experience (GA, PA, NY, NC and TX is preferred)
Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management and communication skills
Bilingual: Russian and English
