Below the mantel top it is 65 1/4" side to side.
43" tall from floor to top of the mantel.
The inside opening (where a surround would show) is 54 1/2" across.
Because the top of the inside opening is curvy it measures from 6 1/2" to 9" depending upon where along the curve you measure.
Finally, it protrudes from the wall 5 1/2".
