Front Desk/Sales Consultant
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner as all times
- Sign-in guests and assist with giving tours of the facility, answer any questions or have the ability to find the correct answe, ensure all necessary information is obtained for paperwork
- Answer phone calls and provide accurate information to guests/members or direct them to the appropriate staff member
- Handle member scan-ins and ensure their fitness experience is a pleasant one
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions, balance the drawer at the end of each shift
- Respond to guest/members inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area/gym floor (cleaning duties cover gym/childcare/restrooms/lockerrooms/re-racking weights.
(Must be able to lift at least 50lbs)
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Experience:
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal (bilingual in both Engligh and Spanish is preferred, but not required)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Previous experience in a customer service/gym/health club role is a plus
- Familiarity with technical sales and working a POS computer based system.
- Excellent time management skills
