Job Summary The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Shuttle Driver II on the Dahlonega campus.
The Shuttle Driver II will perform the duties of a shuttle bus driver for the University of North Georgia.
Drives students, faculty and staff in a safe and effective manner to on and off campus sites, special events and or athletics events.
Provides courteous and friendly service to customers.
Periodic weekend trips to transport UNG to in-state and out-of-state venues.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; at least 21 years of age; have valid Georgia driver¿s license with an exceptional driving record; possess a CDL Class B (P) endorsement.
A successful background check and pre-employment drug screen is required.
Responsibilities Drive shuttle bus to transport students from loading site(s) off main campus to designated locations on/off campus.
After hours and weekend may be required to transport students and or faculty & staff to off campus events or locations.
May be ask to assist Parking for events.
Make sure all safety rules and regulations for transporting passengers are adhered to at all times during transportation.
Will report directly to the Transportation Supervisor Ensure vehicles are clean and in good working condition before transporting passengers.
Conduct vehicle inspections each day and notify supervisor of any issues or concerns Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilies Provides courteous and friendly service to customers.
Must have good communication skills.
Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Requires three (3) years of experience transporting passengers.
Valid Driver's License required.
CDL Class B with P Endorsement License required.
Proposed Salary Minimum Starting Salary: $ 14.
