I bought this boat a couple of years ago from a UNG Club Racing student.
It is a great boat with two sets of sails.
It is easy to rig and quite fast, but it is time to let someone else enjoy this incredible boat.
It comes with a 2004 trailer that is titled, two sets of sails, hull, dagger board, tiller and deck/storage cover.
Below are some facts from the Laser website.
The Laser Radial, also known as the ILCA 6, is a popular one-design class of small sailing dinghy.
Built by LaserPerformance, it is designed for singlehanded sailing, meaning it’s sailed by one person.
Here are some key features of the Laser Radial:
1.
Sail and Mast: The Laser Radial is a variant of the Laser Standard.
It features a shorter mast and reduced sail area compared to the Laser Standard.
This design allows lighter sailors to handle heavy winds more effectively1.
2.
Ideal for Small Adults and Youth: Outfitted with a 19% smaller sail and a more flexible mast, the Laser Radial is perfect for small adults, women, and youth.
Whether you’re racing at the club level or aspiring for Olympic competition, the Laser Radial offers an excellent medium-sized rig for those who want to be part of the Laser community2.
3.
Versatility: The Laser Radial’s innovative design combines exceptional handling, speed, and stability.
Its spacious cockpit and three rig/sail versions make it suitable for sailors of all levels.
LaserPerformance believes that rotomolded boats can be fun, and the Laser Radial exemplifies this philosophy3.
So, if you’re looking for a dynamic and versatile sailboat, the Laser Radial is a fantastic choice!
