Position Overview: As a Sales Associate, you will play a pivotal role in providing an outstanding shopping experience for our customers.
Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers in finding the perfect bike to match their needs, pickleball equipment to help them improve and enjoy their game, and watersports gear to help them enjoy their time on the lake.
This role requires a combination of product knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for sports and outdoor activities.
Responsibilities: 1.
Engage and assist customers in a friendly and approachable manner, understanding their needs and preferences.
2.
Demonstrate expert knowledge of bicycles, pickleball equipment, and watersports gear to provide accurate product recommendations.
3.
Conduct product demonstrations and explain features, benefits, and specifications to customers.
4.
Assist with inventory management, restocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.
5.
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
6.
Stay informed about industry trends, new product releases, and participate in ongoing product training.
7.
Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and store sales targets.
8.
Resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and returns with professionalism and a customer-first mindset.
9.
Contribute to the overall positive and energetic atmosphere of the store.
Qualifications: 1.
Previous sales experience in a retail environment, preferably in sporting goods or related industries.
2.
Knowledge and passion for bicycles, pickleball, and/or watersports.
3.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
4.
Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
5.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
6.
Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to collaborate.
